IMPORTANT SCHEDULING CONCERN:

The Holidays are here! If you’d like for me to care for your pet during the following Holidays, please take the time to request a spot in my calendar now. I do not provide Housesit stays during the weeks listed below, and I will not be working December 22-30 or January 2-6. I apologize for the inconvenience. I will be charging my Holiday rate the full week. (repeat/existing clients, see below) Day Visit/Walk slots will fill up very quickly, request them now! (some repeat clients not counted in daily slots- varies by travel time & length of service. my regular hours of activity still apply)

Important Information-

Please allow me time to gauge your dog’s behavior. Some dogs are shy/anxious, and may require extra effort on my part to get them to trust me. With certain dogs, this may simply take TIME. You know your dog, please let me know if they are confident around new people or tend to be reserved/nervous.

I LOVE ALL DOGS & CATS! ANY AND ALL BREEDS ARE WELCOME!

Every pet is different, so being understanding and able to adapt to the specific needs of your pet is important.

When it comes to animal care, your pet’s comfort is everything. I am very secure in my belief that your pet will be safe & happy in my care. I will treat and love them as if they were my own.

Here are some expectations:

Inform me of any odd behaviors your dog exhibits on walks or in new situations. I can accommodate reactive pups, with some extra TLC/attention. Please keep me up-to-date on your dog's training so I can help reinforce it! I will need to know where the dogs leash/collar/harness is kept, any off-limit zones in your home, and any post-walk routines you and your pup engage in. I aspire to make it as fun as possibly for your pup, something they should get excited about every time they see me. I will also ask that you provide a way for me to enter your home, most settle for a hidden key or a garage code.

DOGS:

Please inform me of any quirks your dog has when it comes to eating or potty-ing. (things like food aggression, reluctance to potty, picky eater, sensitive tummy, etc.) I like to plan for a max of 20-25 minutes for a walk when the booking is for 30 minutes. If you’d like a longer walk, I can accommodate for a small charge! Any other requests during a visit you can pass by me and I’d be happy to do it.

CATS:

When it comes to kitty boxes, I normally scoop daily. Please tell me where to dispose of the clumps! Cats are fairly straightforward so please inform me of any other tasks you’d like me to complete. (things like medication, playtime, hair brushing, etc.)

I want to be able to keep your dog or cat’s routine as normal as possible while you’re away. Let me know what a day normally looks like with your pet and I will happily do it!!

DOGS:

Housesits can be structured so me and your pup can go on multiple walks or hikes. Let me know if you are interested, and we can start to set it up! I can also take your dog to the dog park! I do ask that I have time to gauge your dog’s temperament and tendencies before doing so. This may take multiple solo visits or a visit with you present. If you’re curious, please ask!!!

CATS:

Tell me any specific concerns or suggestions about your kitty regarding things like play-time or exercise. I can accommodate outdoor time in an inclosed, safe environment where there is no risk of the cat escaping. If you’d like for your kitty to have outside enrichment time, I may ask to see the outdoor area prior to accommodating. If I don’t think it is safe, I may say no. (Disregard this if your cat is an outdoor cat!)

CATS & DOGS:

I can provide nail trims (dogs only), baths, ear cleanings, & brushings/brushouts. All services still require a Meet & Greet and I do not provide the facilities for theses services as they are considered add-ons to Visits or Stays. I may say no to a grooming request if your dog's temperament/current coat state is outside my area of expertise or comfortability. I can provide items for these services (ex- a nail dremel or clipper) if need be.

I can provide daily brushings for long-haired cats/dogs for a small fee.
